The IDFL Plan

-The IDFL will start off small. We have seen the ramifications for owners and leagues starting off too big or too fast. The IDFL wants to use the league as a building block for players, coaches, and owners.

-The IDFL will be affordable to team owners. We want to start our league off on a smaller scale so we can build a base and grow in the future. The plan is to play in smaller arenas, lower player salaries, and minimal travel time the first couple of years so teams can save money and potentially bring in a revenue stream right away while building their brand and the league as a whole.

IDFL Coming 2015

The Indoor Developmental Football League is proud to announce that the inaugural season will begin in 2015. The IDFL will strive to be indoor football’s premier developmental league. There are hundreds of players who do not make the cut in indoor and arena football simply because they have not played the game before. Because the indoor game is so different than the outdoor game, the IDFL will help develop these player’s skills so they can receive contracts to play in leagues such as the IFL, LSFL, PIFL, UIFL, and ultimately the AFL. The IDFL will provide affordable family entertainment and serve our fans, players, employees, and partners to the fullest of our capabilities.
